When the Christmas season starts for us we immediately talk about cosiness, fun and fellowships. We do anything to create that fun, cosy mood at home. A nice candle, some food, a fire. By now you are used to that. So it is no surprise that we are incredibly enthusiastic about the following collaboration.
This year we have a fun collaboration with a great company of Dutch origins: Ambiente Europe. For more than 25+ years they have been the manufacturer of high-quality napkins and table accessories. Ambiente’s sizable collection offers the right napkin for every occasion and each season. Including Christmas.
Once you see one of their products, you immediately get those warm and fuzzy Christmas feels that come with the season. Which is exactly their aim: to create products that bring joy and fun to the home. How awesome is that?
We were honored to take a peek behind the scene and see how the process works.
About Ambiente
Twice a year Ambiente releases new collections. The collections mainly consist of high-quality napkins in more thatn 240 changing design per season. However, several designs are completed with matching table accessories such as fine bone china mugs, candles, match boxes, trays, oven mittens, dish towels etc. c
Everything starting from the intial design to the shipping and boxing of the orders, in short: the complete prodution and logistics, are done in-house. A high-quality of the products is a top priority in this process. In each stage the quality is checked. So cool to see. You truly need craftsmanship for this.
Sustainability
Ambiente endevours to work as sustainable as possible. In the production of their napkins they use environmentally friendly, water-borne inks without solvents. In addition, the tissue paper used to process into napkins consist of sustainably produced material and is chlorine-free. Amazing and environmentally-friendly.

Ambiente…a collection of beautiful moments.
This beautiful slogan summerizes perfectly what Ambiente and its products stand for. Each napkins, mug, match box etc. shows a beautiful moment. The bird in the snow, the Santa Claus bringing presents or the Snowman in front of the door. There is something for everyone and each product puts a smile on your face.
We’ll give you a quick rundown of some themes in the Winter- & Christmas collection.
Bearded Nutcracker
A beautiful warm theme that puts the Nutcracker in the spotlight. The classic Christmas theme with a German feel. Gorgeous, subtle and incredibly cosy. Wether you have a napkin, dish towel or storage jar, it is a nice addition to your Christmas table.
Winter Greenery
Holly branches, berries, a pinecone. Red, green and white in a modest yet Christmassy design. In addition this theme has oven mittens, a table runners and a bread basket. A beautiful and also different theme.
Hanging Stockings
A stunning theme with an American touch. So cosy! Christmas stockings hanging on a decorated mantle. Super Christmassy. Warm, colourful and fun. You immediately feel in the mood to put down Christmas cookies for Santa.
Eucalyptus All Over
A subtle theme with Eucalyptus as the star. This theme is suitable for multiple seasons. It comes with napkins, a mug, tea glass, bread basket and oven mittens amongs others. A nice addition to use in for example a more rustic or country-style interior.
Wooden Rocking Horse
Who doesn’t want this at home? A rocking horse in front of a Christmas tree with presents. Available in a tray, napkins, candles and more.
Hush Hush
Santa Claus with a secret! EA secret bond between you and Santa. Anyone wants to be Santa’s helper, right? Amazing and a mug alone is already a wonderful present to gift or receive.
Robin in wreath
A robin in a wreath of berries. Nice with a tray and candles. Modest and also nice for Winter.
Santa bringing presents
Santa Claus with a bag filled with presents in the snow. Its cosiness calls out a feeling of nostalgia.
Storing for Christmas
A nice theme with a cute squirrel. Great to use for a brunch or during the winter days. Not that we need an excuse to pull out a Christmas mug from the cupboard but you get the idea.

Did you know that:
- Ambiente’s building leaves a very green footprint? They use a heat pump installation for example to heat and cool the building.
- Ambiente has been FSC® certified since 2011.
- Ambiente candles burn between 35h & 75h.

Ambiente delivers to several stores and webshops. During the season we will tip you when and where we spot their products. Most napkins can be found at garden centers or stores that sell kitchenware.
